Class: Beginning Brioche Hat Knitting Class

Dates: March 9 and 16 from 2:00-4:30
Prerequisites: Advanced beginner knitter. Must know cast on, knit, purl, bind off, basic decreases and knitting in the round.
About This Class: Brioche knitting is a special knitting technique that produces reversible knits that are super squishy! We’ll knit a brioche hat in two colors while learning the basics of brioche knitting in the round.
Skills student will learn: The basics of brioche knitting in the round, two color cast on, and working decreases brioche.Materials - Materials for class are available for purchase at Cheers To Ewe! and are not included in the price of this class. All materials purchased for classes are 10% off for students enrolled in the class.
- Worsted weight yarn in 2 contrasting colors, about 50g of each color.
- Working needles (circulars or dpns) in sizes 6 and 8. Small diameter circulars or dpns in the size 8, and 16” circulars in the size 6.

PATTERN WILL BE PROVIDED BY INSTRUCTOR at Cheers To Ewe! Please bring your notions bag to every class. Please DO NOT begin this project before class unless class homework has been included in the class description or is sent out by the teacher before class. Teachers often incorporate foundational techniques and lessons in the beginning stages of class, and you will not be able to take advantage of that learning if you jump ahead.
