Class: Introduction to Intarsia

Prerequisites: Must know how to cast on, bind off, knit and purl.
About this class: What do colorblocking, abstract graphics, and pictorial images have in common? They are all made with intarsia knitting! In this class, you'll make a case for your eyeglasses. In the process, you'll learn the basics of this classic knitting technique. Sandi will teach you how to avoid holes at the color changes, and how to manage your yarns to minimize tangles.
Materials - Materials for class are available for purchase at Cheers To Ewe! and are not included in the price of this class. All materials purchased for classes are 10% off for students enrolled in the class.
- 3 colors of worsted weight yarn – preferably wool or a wool blend
- Needles required to produce a gauge of 5 sts =1" in stockinette stitch with your chosen yarn
- Tapestry needle
