This class sold out VERY FAST the first time we posted it, so we're offering it a second time!
Have you ever dropped a stitch and had to rip your knitting all the way out to fix it? Worked an extra decrease or increase and had to start all over with your knitting? You can fix your knitting without ripping it all out and starting over! In this class we will learn some basic ‘knit fixes’ to help you gain confidence in fixing your knitting instead of ripping out and starting over.
Skills students will learn: How to read their knitting, ‘tinking’, picking up stitches in preparation for ripping back, fixing a dropped stitch, fixing an extra decrease or increase, placing a lifeline, plus more…
Materials: Materials for class are available for purchase at Cheers To Ewe! and are not included in the price of this class. All materials purchased for classes are 10% off for students enrolled in the class.
Homework swatch directions will be available to you once you have purchased the class. If you have questions about the homework, the instructor's email address is included at the top of the homework sheet.
- Knitting needles used to work homework swatch. (US 7 or similar)
- Crochet hook in size US5 or similar. (Should be 2 sizes smaller than your working knitting needles.)
- A single dpn in size 4 or 5.
- Tapestry needle.
- Locking stitch markers.
- Waste yarn.
- Bring any projects that have a knitting mistake that you would like advice on fixes as well!
